The international BTR workshop at COP29 has been successfully completed

We were pleased to host participants from Central Asia, South Caucasus and Eastern Europe in Astana from September 16-18, 2024 for the workshop on Accelerating Transparency Reporting under COP29.

Thank you to everyone who participated and shared their experience and knowledge!

Participants from Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Montenegro, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan had a unique opportunity to exchange experiences and strengthen regional cooperation to fulfill international environmental obligations. We are confident that the knowledge gained will help participants to develop and improve their countries' low-carbon policies.

This workshop was an important step towards jointly strengthening climate action and adherence to transparency principles under the Paris Agreement.
