KazAID representatives took part in the online seminar of the TOSSD international forum

 

Representatives of KazAID participated in an online seminar organised by the TOSSD International Forum under the OECD Development Assistance Committee (DAC) for Europe and Central Asia

 

On July 3, KazAID representatives participated in an online seminar organised by the OECD Development Assistance Committee (DAC) TOSSD International Forum for Europe and Central Asia.

 

The aim was to build capacity for statistical reporting. TOSSD is a total official support for sustainable development, which mobilises resources to support the implementation of the SDGs.

 

TOSSD experts presented the TOSSD framework and methodology. Participants learned how countries and organisations can present their support for sustainable development and shared experiences.

 

Ainur Tuimebekova, Director of KazAID's Partnership and Regional Projects Department, spoke at the seminar about Kazakhstan's experience in reporting to the OECD DAC and about KazAID's projects to achieve the SDGs. Jérôme Le Roy, Head of Sector for Institutional Reporting and Director General for Partnerships of the European Commission, also spoke on the effectiveness of statistical reporting in achieving the SDGs.
