KazAID participated in the workshop on implementation of ODA in Slovakia

From 29 to 30 May 2024, Bratislava hosted the seminar “ODA Learning Series 2024” organized by SlovakAID. Kazakhstan International Development of Agency “KazAID” actively participated in this important event, which gathered development practitioners from various countries.

The workshop brought together representatives from Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Ministries of Finance and development agencies from new donors including Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia and Turkey.

The main objective of the workshop was to establish a constructive dialog on priorities, methods and challenges in development cooperation.

The event provided a platform for in-depth discussion on practical topics. Participants were able to explore relevant issues in depth and lay the groundwork for future dialogues.

The seminar featured key speakers such as Ivana Živković, Assistant Secretary General, and Maroš Mitrik, Director of the Department for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovakia.

KazAID's participation in the seminar was an important step to strengthen cooperation and exchange of experience in the field of official development assistance.
