Dushanbe, December 21, 2023 – Currently, Kazakhstan has intensified development cooperation with the countries of the Central Asian region. One of the key areas is the promotion of IT technologies, where our country has innovative experience in creating an electronic public administration platform. On December 21, 2023 in Dushanbe, Republic of Tajikistan, a solemn transfer of the “eGOV” e-Government software under the KazAID brand took place as a technical grant within the framework of the Declaration on Allied Cooperation between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as in order to implement the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the transfer of e-government platform systems. The event was implemented by “Kazakhstan Agency of International Development “KazAID” and NITEC with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Republic of Tajikistan.
This initiative of the President K. K. Tokayev has expanded opportunities for exporting Kazakhstani achievements in the field of IT technologies and will serve as a qualitative precedent for official development assistance provided by the Republic of Kazakhstan.
It is worth noting that the project has long-term prospects, as it will entail the need for personnel training to ensure the operation of the “eGOV” e-Government, which is ready to be carried out by “Kazakhstan Agency of International Development “KazAID” and NITEC with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry.
