Kazakhstan chaired the Asia-Pacific Directors General Forum for South-South and Triangular Cooperation for the first time

November 27-28, 2023, Bangkok, Thailand - The Republic of Kazakhstan, represented by the Chairman of the Board of the Kazakhstan Agency of International Development «KazAID» Arken Arystanov, chaired the fifth session of the Asia-Pacific Directors General Forum for South-South and Triangular Cooperation on the topic «Digital Innovation and South-South Cooperation: Driving Sustainable Development in Asia and the Pacific».

130 representatives from 40 countries of the world took part in this event. The forum served as a platform for the exchange of experience and discussion of the issues of public access to digital technologies, meeting the challenges of sustainable development in the region with the help of innovative digital solutions, as well as the needs of new technical assistance providers.
