Project rationale: The development of a healthy and competitive private sector has become an important task for Tajikistan. In the past, the country was dependent on foreign money transfers, which led to instability of the macroeconomics. To mitigate the risk of a debt crisis and stimulate economic growth, it was necessary to develop the private sector. However, the provision of public services for local entrepreneurs was inefficient, which hindered the development of the private sector. Kazakhstan, being a leader in the digitalization of public services in Central Asia, could share its experience and knowledge with Tajikistan.
Project description: The project was implemented in the format of a seminar with the participation of experts from Kazakhstani organizations, such as JSC "Entrepreneurship Development Fund "Damu", NAO "State Corporation "Government for Citizens", JSC "National Infocommunication Holding "Zerde", and JSC "National Information Technologies". Specialists from the Republic of Tajikistan were also invited.
Topics of the seminar:
As a result of the seminar, the participants received valuable knowledge and skills necessary to optimize public services according to the principles of "one window" in Tajikistan.
