Cooperation between Kazakhstan and China in Higher Education

September 22, 2025, Astana – The Sino-Kazakhstan Higher Education Roundtable, co-organized by Nazarbayev University and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou), was successfully held.

The Chairman of the Board of KazAID, Arken Arynstanov, took part in the event and delivered a welcoming speech.

Participants discussed the role of innovative technologies in transforming global higher-education models, the key factors for the competitiveness of research universities, and practical approaches to making bilateral cooperation a driver of regional development.

During the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the universities.
