Akim of Karaganda region Ermaganbet Bulekpaev continues meetings with labor collectives.

The head of the region, together with the akim of Karaganda, heads of regional departments and departments, arrived at the «Karaganda Bread» plant.

The staff were able to ask their questions regarding the development and improvement of the city.

– We specially hold such meetings in the workplace to share plans for the future, to hear your suggestions and opinions. Your company is important: you provide residents with social bread. Almost a thousand people work at the plant. The products are in demand in our country and are exported," said Ermaganbet Bulekpayev. – In general, the city is developing, as you can see for yourself. There are problematic issues, but the city's economy is quite stable. We introduced big projects last year, especially housing and schools. Gasification is actively underway. We are implementing a number of large-scale industrial projects. The city is engaged in landscaping, this year we are focusing on the development of the South-East and Maikuduk.

The participants of the meeting were interested in further gasification plans: whether enterprises will be able to switch to blue fuel in the future. This will improve the environment. The private sector is currently a priority, but in the future, natural gas will also be allocated to the needs of enterprises.

In addition, the introduction of a third heat sink will solve the problem of heat shortage.

The employees asked, taking into account the development of the South-East, to launch a bus route to the enterprise area. The possibilities of resolving the issue will be considered.

The issue of housing remains relevant. At the meeting, the director of the Otbasy Bank branch, Baurzhan Zhuasbayev, spoke about special mortgage programs for working professions.

The company's management called for participation in the preferential mortgage program in order to improve the living conditions of its employees.

Issues of medical care were raised. The head of the health department, Bibigul Tulegenova, suggested organizing a visit to the enterprise by specialists to conduct screenings and professional examinations.

– Considering that the team is mostly female, this is especially important. A three-day social leave is possible to undergo screening studies. Probably, few of you use it. It's easier for us to come to you ourselves – to take a step forward for you," said Bibigul Tulegenova.

The head of the Department for the Coordination of Employment and Social Programs, Toleu Mukhtar, spoke about the support of working professions and employment opportunities. There are about three thousand vacancies in the region.

There are also government-subsidized jobs that will be offered in career centers. In Karaganda, almost half of the able-bodied population is employed in working professions. About 146 thousand residents are employed in small and medium-sized businesses.
