Akim of Karaganda region Ermaganbet Bulekpayev met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to Kazakhstan Otto Rona. The parties discussed the construction of a plant for the production of premium feeds and premixes in the Saran industrial zone.

"We have particularly great prospects in the agro—industrial complex due to the launch of joint production," said Otto Rona. — In addition, there are interesting projects in the field of pharmaceuticals and energy, which we are also ready to develop.
The Hungarian company UBM Group plans to build a modern plant for the production of premium compound feeds and premixes for livestock and poultry farming. Grain crops from local farmers will be used as raw materials, which is especially important given the proximity of three large grain-growing areas.

35 jobs will be created at the plant. The production process will be automated as much as possible. At the first stage, the capacity of the enterprise will be 100 thousand tons of products per year, with the possibility of increasing to 200 thousand tons. Some of the products will remain in the region, while others will be exported.
— Central Asia is a strategic destination for us. After studying the market, we chose Kazakhstan for investment. The plans include the construction of three factories in the country and comprehensive cooperation with local farmers," said Peter Zoltan, Investment Director at UBM Group.

Ermaganbet Bulekpayev stressed that the region is ready for long-term cooperation.
— We are interested in attracting international partners and creating new production facilities. A plot of land has already been allocated for the plant, and connection points to the necessary facilities have been provided. The project will be provided with state support, including investment benefits and preferences," said Ermaganbet Bulekpayev.
Currently, there are no factories in Kazakhstan for the production of premixes, and poultry farms purchase them abroad, mainly in Russia.
