Ermaganbet Bulekpayev met with miners

We decided that we need to come to the labor collectives and discuss issues in an open dialogue," said Ermaganbet Bulekpayev. — I understand that there are risks in your profession, and our task, the task of your leadership, is to minimize them. Therefore, we will continue to develop measures for social protection, safety and improvement of working conditions.

The head of the Department of the State Labor Inspectorate, Medeu Akhmetov, reported on the work done. The head of the Department for the Coordination of Employment and Social Programs, Toleu Mukhtar, reported on measures to support and develop working professions.

The majority of residents of the Shakhtinsk region work at Kazakhstanskaya, so it was mainly about its development.

Ermaganbet Bulekpaev told what is being done to improve the heat supply in Shakhtinsk. Last year, financing for the repair of thermal power plants was increased several times. Today, the station is operating stably. To make the houses warmer, 4 km of heating networks were replaced and thermal insulation was restored. In addition, Shakhtinsk is being prepared for gasification. Reconstruction of water supply networks continues. They are improving the transport infrastructure: over the past two years, 30 km of roads in the city and surrounding villages have been repaired.

The meeting participants raised housing issues. Under the preferential mortgage program, which was launched by the regional akimat together with Otbasy Bank, 116 miners and 113 metallurgists were able to improve the housing situation. They purchased apartments in Karaganda, Sarani, Temirtau, Shakhtinsk, and Abai. 2 billion tenge was allocated from the regional budget for this program.

Ermaganbet Bulekpayev called on the company's management to also financially participate in this program so that more employees could take advantage of it.

Baurzhan Zhuasbayev, Director of the Otbasy Bank branch, spoke about the new housing program for Nauryz Zhumyker workers. It starts on March 17, 2025. Advantages: initial payment — from 10% (primary housing in finishing), from 20% (rough finishing and secondary housing); the rate is 7% for socially vulnerable categories, 9% for the rest.

At the meeting, they also asked questions about landscaping, garbage collection, lighting, and playground construction in Shakhtinsk. The mayor of the city, Murat Kydyrganbekov, immediately answered them. There were complaints about the lack of buses from Shakhtinsk to Karaganda in the morning. Ermaganbet Bulekpayev gave instructions on those issues that need to be resolved.

The miners also raised the issue of medical care at the Shakhtinsk hospital. Therefore, after the meeting, the akim of the region went there to look at the site.

The Soviet-built building has long been in need of renovation. Last year, the clinic began major repairs.

The 4th and 5th floors and partially the 3rd are already ready. It should be completed this year.

Talgat Zhuken, Director of the hospital, spoke about the equipment upgrade.

We have received new equipment for intensive care, the operating room, as well as for the diagnosis of heart diseases.

Ermaganbet Bulekpayev instructed to resolve the issue of the shortage of medical specialists.
