The first such meeting was held at the Maker machine-building plant, where the head of the region arrived together with the heads of key departments and departments.
– We are ready to discuss with you questions on any topic. Employees of enterprises, as a rule, do not get to my regular meetings. That's why my colleagues and I decided to meet with you this way," Ermaganbet Bulekpayev addressed the staff. – This year has been declared the Year of Working Professions by the President. This highlights how important working professions are: without them, it is difficult to imagine a strong industry and a stable economy. Our goal is to ensure decent working conditions, social protection and opportunities for professional growth for every employee.
He noted that almost half of the region's able-bodied population is employed in working professions.
The governor of the region spoke about the clustering of colleges and how this will affect the training of workers. Reference colleges have been identified in each industry, with a total of eight of them. They will improve their material and technical base, purchase modern equipment for workshops and laboratories.
The heads of departments and departments reported on their areas: measures aimed at transforming vocational and technical education, supporting and developing working professions, improving occupational safety, etc.

At the meeting, they asked about the 44th school, which was dismantled after being declared an emergency. A new one will be built on the same site. Design and estimate documentation is currently being developed.

According to Zhanibek Baigabelov, director of Maker LLP, the company has increased production volumes, 822 people work at the plant, conditions are good, so employees hold on to their jobs, staff turnover is minimal.
