Silk Road Electronics and Samsung Electronics have signed an agreement on the production of televisions in Kazakhstan

The agreement provides for the production of an up-to-date line of Samsung TVs, including the premium series. The new production line will be located at Silk Road Electronics in the Saran city, Karaganda region, potentially meeting the growing demand for high-tech products in both Kazakhstan and Central Asia in the future.

Localization of production will contribute to the development of industrial infrastructure and the creation of new jobs.

— This cooperation opens up new opportunities for our company and the industrial development of Kazakhstan as a whole. Together with Samsung Electronics, we will provide world—class products at affordable prices for Kazakhstani consumers," said Alexander Kritskiy, director of the Silk Road Electronics plant.

The project was implemented with the support of the Industrial Development Fund. The production line is scheduled to be launched in the second quarter of 2025. Consumers will be able to purchase the first Samsung TVs manufactured in Kazakhstan in the second half of next year.
