More than 250 books by Kazakhstani authors are presented at the Frankfurt Book Fair

The Frankfurt Book Fair FrankfurterBuchmesse – 2024 is taking place in Germany. More than 1,000 authors from 95 countries present their books, magazines and newspapers there. A special stand has been organized for Kazakhstani publishers, which presents more than 250 books.

The international fair is attended by over 30 representatives from Kazakhstan, including public figures, domestic publishers and translators, as well as such large publishing houses as Mektep, Almatykitap, Atamura, ARMAN-PV, Stepe & World Publishing, ASTANA-KITAP and AmalBooks.

— Kazakhstan's participation in the Frankfurter Buchmesse 2024 book fair is an important historical event for our country. This is an international platform where we can present our cultural heritage and showcase Kazakhstani authors and publishers on a global level. Within the framework of the fair, we will not only present domestic publications, but also plan important meetings and negotiations to establish strategic ties for the future. This initiative provides a unique opportunity for the development of our book market, its entry to a new level and the dissemination of works by authors around the world," said Rustam Ali, Chairman of the Archives, Documentation and Book Business Committee of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In addition to the exhibition, seminars, round tables, concerts and other cultural events will be held.

Frankfurter Buchmesse is the largest annual book fair in the world.
