Karaganda residents won five medals at the Asian Grappling Championship in Tashkent

Five athletes of the Karaganda region became medalists of the AFGC Asian Wrestling Grappling Championship. Karaganda residents have one gold, two silver and two bronze in their piggy bank.

The competitions were held in Tashkent (Uzbekistan). About 700 athletes from the continent took to the tatami. The Karaganda region was represented by five wrestlers. All of them rose to the podium.

The fighters from Temirtau brought a full set of medals. Sergey Tymchenko became the best in the veterans category, Chingiz Izmukhanov took second place, Maxim Samtsov became the third.

Andrey Pavlov from Balkhash won silver, Islam Zholdybek from Karaganda – bronze.
