Karaganda athlete will compete at the Summer Olympic Games in Paris

Another participant of the Olympiad from the Karaganda region has been determined. Track and field athlete David Efremov will take part in the main quadrennial Games in Paris.

Everything was decided after the publication of the world final Olympic hurdles ranking.

– Yes, David passed, he is going to the Olympics, – said Dmitry Karpov, the head coach of the Republic of Kazakhstan in athletics. – From July 9, the national team will have training camps in the Almaty region, and on the 29th we will fly to Paris.

David Efremov will defend the honor of Kazakhstan at a distance of 110 meters with hurdles. He is the strongest in this sport in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the champion of Asia, the country's record holder.

Thus, three athletes from the Karaganda region – Danil Musabayev, Ksenia Ignatova and David Efremov - will compete in the Olympic team of Kazakhstan in Paris.
