Ermaganbet Bulekpayev held a personal reception for residents of the Karaganda region

Akim of Karaganda region Ermaganbet Bulekpayev held another reception for residents on personal issues.

For more than two and a half hours, Karaganda residents shared their problems with the head of the region both offline and online.

For the first time, the meeting was held in the new Center for Dialogue with residents in the "South-East" microdistrict of the city.

The reception was attended by akims of cities and districts, heads of relevant departments. We tried to solve all the issues on the spot. Those that required additional consideration were taken under control.

Alyona Stepanova arrived from Kokpekty station (formerly Solonichki). The main question that worries the residents of the station is: when will their settlement become part of Karaganda? The documents are already ready and are under consideration by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan. There are also issues related to housing and communal services. Ermaganbet Bulekpayev promised to solve the problem with lighting and patching of the Sorting – Kokpekty road. Akim of Karaganda Meiram Kozhukhov should help with garbage collection and installation of tanks.

– We have been unable to resolve the issue of territorial and administrative affiliation of our station for a long time. Geographically, we belonged to the Bukhar-Zhyrau district, administratively to the Alikhan Bokeikhan district of Karaganda. Now it is clear that the documents are ready and are under consideration by the government. I hope that this issue will be resolved as soon as possible. There are a lot of problems with housing and communal services, they also promised to help. All my questions should be resolved positively," says Alyona Stepanova, chairman of the village council of the Kokpekty station.

Madina Umurkulova, head of the socio-psychological laboratory at the Karaganda University named after academician E. A. Buketov, came to the head of the region with a proposal. Her project "Kazakh society in the context of digital transformation: prospects and risks" is designed to instill in people the skills of health-saving behavior when working with gadgets and safe use of the Internet. Work with children is at the forefront. In this direction, the laboratory staff is ready to conduct examinations and trainings, work with school psychologists and psychologists of health centers and polyclinics.

Ermaganbet Bulekpayev became interested in the proposal and promised to support it. He noted that Internet addiction and ludomania are the scourge of modern society.

– Today this is a really big problem, and something needs to be done about it. If your project can help, that's great. We will support it," the governor of the region said.
