Ermaganbet Bulekpayev answered the questions of residents live on air

Residents of the Karaganda region directly asked their questions to the head of the region, Ermaganbet Bulekpayev. The Saryarka TV channel hosted a live broadcast of the akim of the region.

All communications were used to collect appeals: WhatsApp, social networks, and a street survey. Call center operators received more than 60 calls during the broadcast. Most of the questions concerned the communal and social spheres.

Residents of Shakhtinsk are concerned about the stabilization of the local thermal power plant (TPP).

– The problems were mostly related to the quality of coal. During the storms, he got very wet. Measures were taken, and in a short time the station was brought to its level according to the weather," explained Ermaganbet Bulekpayev. – Major repairs have not been carried out at Shakhtinsk TPP for many years. Last year, funds were allocated for the repair of boilers. The equipment upgrade will continue this year.

The governor of the region added that the volumes of the repair program for 2024 have already been approved for all seven stations of the region. In Temirtau, the task is to complete the construction of the seventh boiler at TPP -2.

There were a lot of questions on the roads. Ermaganbet Bulekpayev explained the situation with the protracted overhaul of the Shakhan – Shakhtinsk highway. Work began in 2019, but the contractor turned out to be unreliable. After legal proceedings, he was declared bankrupt. Then we had to audit the completed work. It also required an adjustment of the design and estimate documentation. According to the competition, a new contractor was determined. Last year, this company carried out preparatory work, and this year it will begin major repairs.

The Karaganda–Karkaralinsk road is being gradually put in order. This year, repairs will continue, and there are plans to complete another 50 km of the highway.

A resident of Petrovka village of Bukhar-Zhyrau district recalled the promise of the authorities to build a club. The governor of the region confirmed that there are such plans, design and estimate documentation has been developed and an application for financing from the republican budget has been submitted.
