– You are now facing a very important task – to present to the citizens of our country a new generation of civil servants who are distinguished by creativity, multitasking, as well as non–standard approaches to solving problems, - said Ermaganbet Bulekpayev. – The main principles of work are self–discipline, conscientiousness, openness. Only by giving your all to work and solving citizens' problems will you be able to succeed and build a career. Criticism has always been and will be, we need to draw the right conclusions from it.

The meeting touched upon the topics of raising the image of civil servants, as well as the trust of citizens in local executive bodies. Young specialists voiced a number of proposals.

– I suggested including topics such as budgeting and design in the modules of retraining and advanced training courses. If we understand the estimates and project documentation, we will be able to closely monitor the work of service providers for certain public procurement," said Ulukbek Zhasuzakov, chief specialist of the planning and landscaping department of the office of the akim of the Kazybek bi district. – I used to work in manufacturing, in the civil service for only six months.

Elmira Mukanova works as the chief specialist of the collection department in the Shakhtinsk State Revenue Department. The girl admits that the retraining courses have become a new stage in her life. She is pleased with the meeting with the head of the region.

– Such meetings are motivating. I am glad that the governor of the region took the time to meet with us and answer our questions, share his thoughts. This is both an example for us and a new bar to strive for," said Elmira Mukanova.

This year, the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan celebrates its 30th anniversary. Every year, about 2 thousand civil servants are trained in various modules within the walls of the regional branch of the academy.
