Water, roads, Internet: What questions were raised by residents of the Shet district at a meeting with the akim of the region

The condition of intra–district roads, provision of high-quality drinking water and Internet - these and other issues were raised by residents of the Shet district at a meeting with Akim of the Karaganda region Ermaganbet Bulekpayev and heads of departments.

The exit reception was held in the House of Culture of the Akzhal village.

– I appealed to the governor of the region on behalf of the villagers. In recent years, considerable attention has been paid to villages in our area. We, for example, have built a fire station, asphalt roads, build a paramedic station, next year they promise water supply, – says a resident of the village of Bosaga Zhomart Tagylbek. – But our problem is the condition of the road from Moynty to Agadyr with a length of about 160 km. The head of the region explained that it would not be possible to overhaul such a site right away. He instructed his subordinates to monitor the work on current repairs.

Residents of the Karabulak village asked to asphalt 18 km of grader road, which connects the settlement with the Akzhal village.

The villagers also complained about interruptions in water supply in the summer.

– We have a problem with water: it is hard. We propose to revive the old well, which is located six kilometers away from us. If it is restored, we will solve the problem. The head of the region listened to us and promised to consider all ways to help," said Zhumagali Tazhenov, a resident of the Karabulak village.

Also at the meeting, issues of providing high-quality Internet to residents of the Akzhal village were raised.

Chairman of the local Council of veterans Serik Kambaruly voiced the problem of the shortage of veterinarians in rural settlements and the need to update the fleet of this service.

The head of the region wrote down all the questions and suggestions, a specific decision will be made on each of them.

The opening of the sports complex became a real event for the residents of Akzhal,

in which young people and children can practice boxing, judo, sambo and kazak kuresi.

The building was presented to the athletes by the Nova Zinc company.

It also equipped gyms.

– In 2004, the Nova Zinc company built the first sports complex in Akzhal, where children are engaged in 11 sports, there is also a swimming pool.

And so we were presented with another sports complex, where there are two large halls, the necessary equipment, changing rooms, showers, all amenities.

70 children are already engaged here," says the world champion in judo and sambo, honored coach Bolat Manabayev.

– Our students this year became prize-winners of regional, republican and international tournaments. We hope that we will bring up Olympic champions.

Ermaganbet Bulekpayev also visited the local boiler house of the Nova Zinc enterprise, which provides heat to 16 high-rise buildings, 13 private houses and social facilities in Akzhal.

An automated control system has been introduced in the boiler room,

which eliminates the human factor and independently regulates the supply of heat to residents' homes, depending on weather conditions.

In the future, the company plans to increase the capacity of the heat source.

Another major project funded by the company in Akzhal is the reconstruction of sewage treatment plants. The work should be completed by the end of the year.

The company intends to automate the sewage treatment system and create new jobs.

In addition, within the framework of the national project "Strong regions – the driver of the country's development", it is planned to provide housing for four large families from among the waiting lists in the village.

Apartments in two new houses will be purchased for them.
