Karaganda artists won the silver prize of the World Dance Festival

The FIDAF-2023 International Dance Festival was held in the city of Jeonan, South Korea. Folklore ensembles from 16 countries participated. Kazakhstan was represented by the collectives of the Karaganda Concert Association named after K. Baizhanov: " The Swan " and "Melody of the Steppe".

- Our artists performed with dignity, conquered the audience. The audience approached and asked more about the numbers: what kind of music, who is the composer. The jury also highly appreciated the choreography and playing of folk instruments, noted the variety of numbers. Our collectives were awarded the second place, - says Bayan Akhmetzhanova, deputy head of the Karaganda Concert Association named after K. Bayzhanov.

"The Swan" won the award on its anniversary. This year the ensemble celebrates its 30th anniversary. Over the years, he has done a lot to popularize national art. The ensemble's tours took place abroad: in Germany, France, Turkey, Iraq and other countries.
