25 medals of the Asian Championship among Karaganda powerlifters

Seven representatives of the integrated sports school of the Karaganda region showed excellent results at the Asian Powerlifting Championship. Karaganda athletes won 13 gold, six silver and bronze medals in all types.

The Asian Powerlifting Championship (in equipment) among all ages was held in Kerala (India). The strongest athletes of the world took part in it.

Seven powerlifters performed from the Karaganda region.

Danila Kleikin, Regina Gaas and Aybar Sapakov became the winners. They took the first places in all types of exercises – squat, bench press and deadlift.

Karina Tychkova won the silver medal in the overall standings.

Anton Marchenko and Stepan Deineka became the bronze medalists of the championship.

Polina Onufrak took second place in the squat.
