The Republican conference dedicated to the 355th anniversary of Bukhara-Zhyrau was held in the Karaganda region

The republican conference dedicated to the 355th anniversary of Bukhar-zhyrau Kalkamanuly was held in the House of Friendship of Karaganda. The organizer of the event is the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kazakhstan.

– Bukhar-zhyrau Kalkamanuly devoted his whole life to the unification of the country. His spiritual legacy will be passed down from generation to generation. Glorifying our ancestor, we glorify our national values, – said Akim of the Karaganda region Ermaganbet Bulekpayev.

Bukhar-zhyrau was a prominent statesman of the XVIII century. The chief adviser of the Kazakh Khan Abylai. Together with Tole bi, Kazybek bi and Aiteke bi, he participated in the creation of the first set of legal laws in the history of Kazakhstan "Zheti Zhargy" ("Seven regulations"). But first of all it is known as zhyrau. In his songs-tolgau akyn touched on the topical issues of his time and tried to answer them. And also in his work he gave advice to young people.

– The Republican conference is dedicated to the great Bukhara-Zhyrau. We organize such meetings to tell about our ancestors and popularize their work, – said the Supreme Mufti of Kazakhstan Nauryzbai-kazhy Taganuly.

The conference was also attended by Deputy of the Mazhilis Amanzhol Altayev, rectors of Karaganda universities named after E. A. Buketov and Kazpotrebsoyuz Nurlan Dulatbekov and Yerkara Aimagambetov, teachers, intellectuals and religious figures.
