The Day of outstanding public figures was celebrated in schools of the Karaganda region

On the Day of Outstanding Public Figures, on April 24, class hours, quizzes and other educational events were organized in 80 schools of the Karaganda region. This year the holiday is timed to the 140th anniversary of the birth of scientist, teacher and doctor Halel Dosmukhamed.

The Day of Outstanding Public Figures is marked in the Kazakh calendar of significant dates and has been held since 2019.

School students were introduced to the life path and scientific works of Khalel Dosmukhamed.

So, in Gymnasium No. 3, a memorial evening was held "The leaders of the nation – in the memory of generations." The students published a calendar dedicated to the scientist, prepared an exposition, and designed commemorative postcards and a calendar.

Also, students of the gymnasium showed theatrical sketches about the life and works of prominent figures of Kazakh history, read monologues-memoirs from the lives of scientists and excerpts from the works of poets.

The decoration of the evening was the performance of the dance ensemble "Aitumar" and the school orchestra of dombrists "Akzhelen".

An interesting report on the life and scientific research of Khalel Dosmukhamed was prepared by students Tomiris Kazieva and Ekaterina Rakova.

At the end of the event, the participants received calendars of significant dates from the Qazaq club, aimed at preserving and popularizing the spiritual values of the nation. These calendars will be placed in classes of Kazakh language and literature, as well as history. In the near future, as part of the "Kazakh Calendar" campaign, they will be handed over to all educational institutions of the city.
