The WorldSkills Karaganda – 2023 Championship is being held in 45 professions

The WorldSkills regional championship of professional skills has started in the Karaganda region. This year it takes place at 17 competitive sites of colleges in 45 professions. More than 300 students will show their skills.

"WorldSkills championships help attract young people to the manufacturing sector of the economy, the development of industrial and service professions. Such championships create new ideas and trends in the training of qualified personnel, provide an opportunity to improve the quality of professional education and form a specialist of a new formation of international level," said Gulsum Kozhakhmetova, head of the Department of Education.

The students who took the first places will defend the honor of the region at the WorldSkills Kazakhstan – 2023 national Championship.
