Veterans of the Great Patriotic War will receive 1.5 million tenge by the Victory Day in the Karaganda region

1.5 million tenge will be paid by Victory Day to veterans of the Great Patriotic War in the Karaganda region. Today, 14 veterans live in the region.

One-time financial assistance will be provided to other categories equated to veterans of the Great Patriotic War.

38 former minor prisoners of concentration camps will be paid 100 thousand tenge each.

11 Karaganda residents who worked during the siege in Leningrad will receive 60 thousand tenge each.

Among the recipients of assistance are 4,138 home front workers and 161 spouses of fallen soldiers during the Great Patriotic War. They will receive 30 thousand tenge each.

This year marks the 78th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.
