The players of the Karaganda "Saryarka" as part of the national team of Kazakhstan won bronze at the XXX World Winter Universiade

The players of the Karaganda hockey club "Saryarka" as part of the national team of Kazakhstan won bronze medals at the XXX World Winter Universiade. It was held from January 12 to 22 in the USA, in Lake Placid.

In the student national team of Kazakhstan, the honor of the country was defended by hockey players "Saryarki" Ruslan Demin, Sayan Daniyar, Ivan Gavrilenko and Denis Karataev.

Kazakhstan defeated South Korea (5:1), Hungary (9:1), Great Britain (15:1), Slovakia (4:0), and lost to the USA (1:4) and Canada (1:4).

The Kazakhstan team fought against Japan in the match for the third place. The meeting ended with a crushing victory of ours with a score of 8:1.

The winners of the Universiade were Canadians, the silver medalists were Americans.
