Appointed Akim of Karaganda

In coordination with the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and deputies of the city Maslikhat, Akim of Karaganda appointed Meiram Muratovich Kozhukhov.

The head of the region Ermaganbet Bulekpayev took part in an extraordinary session of the city maslikhat and presented a candidate for the post of akim.

The deputies supported her.

– Meiram Muratovich worked in Karaganda for many years. I am familiar with all the questions. The most important thing is that the townspeople know him well. I believe that the accumulated experience and knowledge will help him realize his potential for the socio-economic development of the city. Your priority should be the creation of comfortable living conditions for Karaganda residents," the head of the region noted.

Ermaganbet Bulekpayev set tasks for the new akim to continue to develop the regional center, infrastructure and ensure the uninterrupted passage of the heating season.

Meiram Kozhukhov was born in 1972. In public service since 2001. He was the chief specialist of the Department of Culture, Youth Policy, Sports and Tourism of Sarani. He held the positions of akim of the village of Aktas, deputy akim of the city of Sarani, akim of the Oktyabrsky district of Karaganda.

From April 2022 to the present, he worked as Deputy Akim of Karaganda.
