The Karaganda team became the champion of Kazakhstan in futsal

The Karaganda team of the Olympic reserve school "Zhastar-1" won the championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan in futsal among young men born in 2009. The competitions were held in the sports complex "Amanat Arena" of the city of Karaganda.

16 teams from all regions of the country gathered for the championship. More than 200 football players fought for the title of the best team for four days.

As a result, the first place was won by the pupils of the Regional School of the Olympic Reserve in football "Zhastar". Oleg Milyaev trains athletes.

- The competitions were held at the highest level. All the teams were well prepared. We are proud of our players. The guys are repeated winners of international competitions. They became winners and silver medalists of the republican football championship, the champions of the region," says Balgabai Nurlanov, head of the Zhastar Football School.

The second place in the championship was taken by the Birlik team from Pavlodar, the third by FC Astana.

The winners and prize-winners were awarded with diplomas, medals, cups of the Junior Children's Football League and the Kazakhstan Football Federation.

Today, 1150 children from 7 to 18 years old are engaged in the regional school "Zhastar". Classes are free. 27 highly qualified coaches work at the school. There are branches in all cities and districts of the region.
