Schoolchildren of the Karaganda region won the Grand Prix in the design of robots

For the first time, a robot festival was held in Kazakhstan among students of specialized schools for gifted children. It was held at the Suleiman Demirel University. 44 teams took part – about 200 schoolchildren from different regions of the country. Karaganda region was represented by five teams. All of them were among the best.

The winner of the Grand Prix in the category "Designing robots" was the team of a specialized boarding school named after N. Nurmakov. The winners were accepted into the national team of Kazakhstan and received a ticket to the international competition of robot builders.

Another team of nurmakovites took first place in the category of innovative projects. The students of the specialized boarding school of information technology took the first and third places, the specialized boarding school "Murager" - the second.

The organizers of the robot festival were the Republican Scientific and Practical Center "Daryn" and the USTEM Robotics Public Foundation. The competitions were held according to the FIRST international rules.
