In the Karaganda region, with the onset of frost, a charity campaign "Free Taxi" was launched. It was organized by the mosques of the region, supported by car owners and gas stations.

- We are holding charity events "Tegin taxi" ("Free taxi") and "Kolynan kelse, kolgabys bol" ("Help what you can"). You need to do good and help your neighbor. We call on everyone to be merciful and compassionate," says the chief imam of the Karaganda region, Estay Aituganuly.

According to him, a free taxi operates not only in the cities of the region, but also in rural areas. The action has already been supported by about a hundred car owners, and one of the gas station networks provides gasoline for free.

In addition, hot tea is given to utility workers working in the cold on the street.

- Thank you all. Let there be more such good deeds. This is a good help to people. I go to the mosque every day, and on these frosty days they take me home for free," said 74-year-old aksakal Zikiriya Abdrakhmanuly.
