ArcelorMittal Temirtau employees will receive the 13th salary in December

Akim of Karaganda region Ermaganbet Bulekpayev started his first working day with a meeting with miners. He held a meeting of the conciliation commission on payments to labor collectives of “ArcelorMittal Temirtau” JSC. During the discussion, it was decided to pay the 13th salary in December and raise wages from January 1, 2023.

Vladimir Yablonsky, General Director of “ArcelorMittal Temirtau” JSC, said that in December, employees of all three departments and subsidiaries will receive remuneration at the end of the year in 100%. The monthly payment of 25 thousand tenge will remain, the surcharge will be transferred to a security bonus, and indicators will be developed jointly with trade unions.

Starting from January 1, 2023, the salaries of employees of all departments will be indexed to the amount of inflation.

– The decision was very difficult. We needed several joint meetings with the participation of the regional leadership. The negotiations were completed successfully," commented Evgeny Buslaev, Chairman of the coal miners' union "Korgau". – The Conciliation Commission will continue its work. We have a number of other issues of a systemic nature: staffing of coal department enterprises, updating equipment, prospects for the development of mines.

Askar Zhumamratov, the foreman of the “Saranskaya” mine's production shift, noted that a fair solution had been reached.

– The conversation was male, and we agreed as men, – he believes. – We have achieved the fulfillment of our payment requirements in full. The company's management met us halfway.

Ermaganbet Bulekpayev stressed that it is necessary to solve all the issues of mining collectives.

– I have attended the meetings of the conciliation commission before. I know all the questions. I'm always open. We will meet in the same format," the governor of the region said.
