Agricultural workers of Karaganda region were congratulated on their professional holiday

On the eve of the professional holiday, workers of agriculture, food and processing industry were congratulated in the Karaganda region. Akim of the region Zhenis Kassymbek presented awards to farmers for their work and contribution to the country's food security.

This year, the volume of gross agricultural output increased by 17.6% in the region. The region is one of the three leaders in the country in egg production, as well as one of the main potato producers.

Despite the difficult weather conditions, a good harvest of grain crops was harvested this year. More than 886 thousand tons of high-quality grain have been harvested. More than 292 thousand tons of potatoes and 58 thousand tons of other vegetables were harvested.

Agricultural enterprises annually update the technical park. This year we have purchased more than 800 units of various agricultural machinery.

27 investment projects have been implemented, including import-substituting ones. Four more projects will be completed by the end of the year. More than 400 people were employed.

– Dear workers of fields and farms, employees of agricultural service, procurement and processing enterprises, may your knowledge and invaluable experience contribute to your well-being and growth of the agro-industrial complex! It is you who ensure the food security of the region and the country as a whole. This is hard and painstaking work," Zhenis Kassymbek addressed the workers of the agricultural sector.

At the solemn meeting, the distinguished workers of the industry were awarded departmental awards, certificates of honor of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Akim of the Karaganda region.

Georgy Prokop, Director of Shakhterskoye LLP in Nurinsky district, was awarded for his personal contribution to the development of agriculture in the Karaganda region. They also noted the best combine harvesters, sheep breeders, horse breeders and other specialists.

– I really like my work, – says the winner in the nomination "Best animal breeder" Zhanar Mukhanova. – We have a good team and leadership. In the peasant farm "Zhake", where I have been working for four years, new methods of work are constantly being introduced both in animal husbandry and in crop production, so we are achieving good results. It's nice when they evaluate your daily work.

The head of the farm "Polivnoye" Abduakhat Ibragimov was recognized as the best vegetable grower of the Karaganda region.

– I came to the Abai district 14 years ago from Taraz and immediately started farming. We grow vegetables. There are 20 people working on my farm. Working on the land is in my blood. My father was a foreman. Now we are passing the baton to children. At first there were difficulties, of course, but we overcame everything thanks to the support of the state," Abduakhat Ibragimov said.

The winners of the nominations were:

- "The best animal breeder" – Zhanar Mukhanova, zooengineer of the housing complex "Zhake" of the Bukhara-Zhyrau district;

- "The best horse breeder" – Azilkhan Tulauov, chief horse breeder of Aksu-Ayuli rural district of Shet district;

- "The best sheep breeder" – Marat Karimov, head of the "Bazaar" farm in Nurken village of Aktogay district;

- "The best enterprise for processing agricultural products" – LLP "Corporation "Karaganda-Nas";

- "Social project of the Year" – "Maykuduk eggs" LLP;

- "The best vegetable grower" – Abduakhat Ibragimov, head of the farm "Polivnoye" of the Karaganda rural district of the Abay district;

- "The best combine harvester for potato harvesting " – Alexander Starkov, combine harvester of the peasant farm "Chance" of Abai district;

- "The best combine harvester for grain harvesting" – Alexander Shtro, mechanic of Dostyk Grain Company LLP.

In Kazakhstan, the Day of Agricultural, Food and Processing Industry Workers is celebrated on the third Sunday of November.
