The first step to the great invention: Karaganda schoolchildren became prize-winners of the republican competition

A space in a bottle, a robot scout, a realistic ship ready to surf the sea - Karaganda schoolchildren won prizes at the republican contest of innovative ideas "The first step to a great invention". About 180 participants from all regions of Kazakhstan presented projects in the field of technical design of existing models of auto, air and water transport, military, space and agricultural machinery, rocket engineering, heat and alternative energy, construction, industry.

The Karaganda region was represented by nine schoolchildren, four of them became prize-winners.

The second place in the nomination "Technical assembly in the field of military equipment" was awarded to Suleyman Khamitov, a student of the M. Zhumabayev Gymnasium, Karaganda.

According to the student, in order to take part in this competition, he was actively engaged with his teacher Adilbek Berdikozhaev all summer.

– Our goal was to create a scout robot that can be quickly assembled from available materials in wartime, emergencies and disasters. To participate in the competition, I built a robot based on an Arduino microprocessor and created a special application that controls it via a mobile phone. I wanted to make a cheap analogue of expensive robots. The maximum cost of my robot is 5 thousand tenge. We focused on programming. I want to continue working on the project and hope to take first place in the future," Suleyman shared.

Rostislav Kulagin from Karaganda, N. Abdirov Secondary School, also became the second in the category "Models in the field of thermal power, electric power, alternative energy".

Eric Dahmer, technical creative school for children and teenagers "Balalar Technopark", Temirtau, is on the second step of the podium in the nomination "Technical nodes in the field of water transport".

And in the third place in the category "Models in the field of cosmonautics and aerospace engineering" Artem Usoltsev, Secondary school No. 15, Karaganda. He assembled an unusual spaceship, which contains a fascinating world of distant galaxies. Artem used an 8-liter bottle as the base of the rocket.

The organizer of the technical design competition is the Republican Educational and Methodological Center for Additional Education of the Ministry of Education of Kazakhstan.
