The teacher of the Karaganda Technical College won the regional competition of professional skills in the IT industry

The results of the regional competition of professional skills among teachers of organizations of technical and vocational, post-secondary education in the IT industry were summed up in the Karaganda region.

The participants of professional competitions were tasked with developing a website and a logo for a virtual company.

The first place was taken by the master of industrial training of Karaganda Vocational College Margarita Kostyuchenko. The young specialist has been working at the college for a year, previously worked in a printing house.

– Three modules were completed at the competition. In 7 hours it was necessary to develop a company logo in vector format, create a corporate identity of the company in the form of a guideline, and also develop a layout of a one–page website according to the specified criteria, - says Margarita Kostyuchenko. – The works were evaluated not only by leading specialists of the college, but also by social partners – designers of web studios and photo salons.

The second place was won by Rosa Dzhumatayeva, a teacher of special disciplines at the Polytechnic College of the Kazakhmys Corporation. Her college work experience is two years. Participation in the competition allowed to increase the level of practical and theoretical knowledge in graphic design, says the teacher.

– Thank you very much for the opportunity to participate and win, for new emotions and inspiration! We had the opportunity to show our abilities, and this is very important," said Roza Dzhumatayeva.

The teacher of special disciplines of Temirtau Higher Polytechnic College Abai Omirbayev closed the top three winners.

All winners and participants were awarded diplomas and certificates of the Educational and Methodological Center for the Development of Education of the Karaganda region. The winners of the regional stage will represent the region at the republican competition, which will be held in the capital on the basis of the Astana Polytechnic Higher College.
