The Center for the provision of special social services for children of the Karaganda region has acquired equipment for Tomatis therapy. The main task of this technique is to improve the brain's ability to process information perceived by ear.

The center provides assistance to children with various neuropsychiatric pathologies. Currently, 162 children aged 3 to 18 years live here. There is a day hospital.

– We try to use all modern approaches to improve the quality of life of children, so that it is easy for them to navigate in adult life. We pay attention to social skills, carry out medical rehabilitation and correction of motor, cognitive and sensory functions. An individual work plan is being developed for each of the wards," says Gulshat Sharipova, Deputy Director for Social Affairs.

– The device allows you to cover the sensory-motor aspect. But Tomatis therapy is not suitable for everyone. Children must undergo a full medical examination. Only after the approval of a neurologist can you start working. Already now I observe positive dynamics in children. Perseverance appears, aggression decreases, stress level decreases, – says defectologist Gulnara Makhanbetchina.
