The nomination "Best Acting Ensemble" and "Silver Eagle" was awarded to the Temirtau Theater for Children and Youth at the IV International Theater Festival "Te-ART-Kokshe". After careful selection by the jury, 11 teams took part in the event.

The festival, which was held in the Akmola Regional Russian Drama Theater, brought together the best creative teams from Astana, Almaty, Aktobe, Semey, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Temirtau, Kostanay, as well as Kyrgyzstan, Georgia and Russia. Each of them brought one of their most successful productions of recent years.

The Temirtau Theater presented a new comedy "Baba Chanel" by Nikolai Kolyada at the festival. The director was Vladimir Drozdetsky.
The competitive performances were evaluated by international authoritative experts – theater critics. These are Niyaz Iglamov, Lasha Chkhartishvili, Vladislav Kuprin, Artem Drutsky, Anna Stepanova. The commission was headed by Candidate of Art History, Professor, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sania Kabdieva.

– The jury included some of the best theater critics in the post-Soviet space. The festival is as honest as possible in terms of nominations and attitude. The jury members really analyzed each performance, gave their assessment, analysis and recommendations to the artists and directors. To visit such a festival is very useful for further development, – says the head of the Youth Theater Vladimir Drozdetsky.

This is the second victory of the Temirtau theater at the festival. Last year, the nomination "For Artistic Integrity" went to the play "That very Day".
Now the Youth Theater is working on a new production of "Stand-up on four paws". The adventure story, sad and funny at the same time, will be shown on stage at the end of this year.
