A new Center for the support of children with autism will work in Karaganda

A new Support Center for children with autism was presented in Karaganda. Parents have repeatedly talked about its necessity at meetings with the akim of the Karaganda region.

Up to 700 children will be able to visit the long-awaited facility annually. It assumes not only the socialization of young residents of our region, but also the education of their parents. The services will be provided free of charge.

– In the Year of the Children, we were presented with a modern center. Thanks to the state, our children will be able to socialize, and we have hope to overcome all difficulties. I hope that my son's problems will also be solved," said the mother of a special child, Botagoz Mendegereeva.

The center will have 20 practice rooms, including Montessori, sensory integration and life skills rooms. The specialists were trained by leading experts of Kazakhstan in the diagnosis of autism, applied behavior analysis, sensory integration. An individual teacher and a separate training program are provided for each ward.

– In the centers of "Asyl Miras" we teach according to scientifically proven methods. Correction takes place from the birth of children until the age of 18. We also conduct additional training of specialists. The main feature of our centers is that parents are actively involved in the correction process. They are responsible for consolidating the skills that children receive during classes," said Irina Aksenova, HR Manager of the Bulat Utemuratova Foundation.

– We have long known about the effectiveness of the programs of the centers "Asyl Miras". Now our children will be able to receive qualified free assistance in their hometown. I would like to express my gratitude to the foundation for its assistance in creating the center, for teaching our teachers advanced methods of autism correction. Separately, I want to thank my parents for waiting. I share your joy, – said the head of the region Zhenis Kasymbek.

The center is located in Mikhailovka, on Kasym Amanzholov Street, 92. Children will be admitted there from November.
