A secret genius and a madman: an exhibition of reproductions of Van Gogh's paintings will be held in Karaganda

From July 19, the Karaganda Regional Museum of Fine Arts will open an exhibition of reproductions of "Van Gogh. The exhibition "The Secret Genius and the Madman". Free excursions are organized for those who wish.

Van Gogh painted 930 paintings and 1100 drawings and sketches during his life. The exhibition will feature both famous subjects of the master, and little-known, but no less great paintings. According to them, you can trace the entire creative path of Van Gogh as an artist.

Ninety canvases of the exhibition were created in the "giclee" technique, which allows you to recreate immortal masterpieces on natural canvas. In the paintings in this technique, you can even see the craquelures and hairs of the artist's brush that were on the original.

Opening hours of the exhibition: Tuesday – Sunday from 10:00 to 18:00, Monday is a day off.
