Kazakhstan is taking part for the first time in the Russian Creative Week, which takes place in Moscow, in Gorky Park, from July 7 to 10. Irina Kharitonova, a member of the Council for the Development of Creative Industries under the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, will speak at the forum.

– Kazakhstan's participation in this platform is very important. This will help to establish international contacts. A year ago, we started developing a concept for the development of creative industries. We have projects. Today we are puzzled by the creation of creative hubs, the development and support of talented youth, and we need to study the experience of other countries, – Irina Kharitonova said.

According to her, the Global Nomads Fashion Awards project brought together 3,500 participants from all over the world on its site. Its purpose is to study the topic of Kazakhstan's country identity, to comprehend the nomadic heritage of the Kazakh people as a source of strength and inspiration in the world of the digital future.

Irina Kharitonova presents the potential for the development of creative industries in Kazakhstan. From educational platforms and IT, local experience will also be presented – the Terricon Valley, the Center for the Development of Cultural and Creative Industries of Karaganda.

The speaker will talk about the Global Nomads Education educational platform, about the release of the first virtual collection of branded clothing. A socio-cultural project – an open-air gallery, created in Almaty with the support of business, will also be presented.

It is planned to discuss opportunities for cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia at the site of the creative week.
