Karaganda ensembles presented Kazakh folk dances at the international festival in Turkey

The exemplary choreographic ensemble "Ayala" and the ensemble "Zhuldyz" performed at the international youth dance festival "Esenyurt".

The groups presented Kazakh folk dances.

The festival was attended by dancers from 16 countries, such as Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece, Serbia, Georgia, Montenegro, Mexico and others. Karaganda collectives "Ayala" and "Zhuldyz" performed in Turkey as a part of 12 people.

– There was an atmosphere of friendship at the festival. The energy of young people was off the scale. The organization was at the highest level, – says the head of the two ensembles Tatiana Savelyeva. – Various flags were distributed at the entrance, and when the groups danced, the audience supported them by raising the state symbol of their countries. It was very impressive. Our children came on stage and saw the blue sea of Kazakh flags. It was a tremendous support for them.

Tours of Istanbul were organized for foreign delegations in Turkey. Also, a personal reception was held by the mayor of the capital, who presented souvenirs and gifts to young Karaganda women.

– We were the only ones from Kazakhstan. I think they represented the country confidently. There was a huge interest in our delegation, everyone wanted to be photographed and invited the ensemble to the festival in Pamukkale, – Tatiana added. – But, unfortunately, we couldn't stay.

Tatiana is a graduate of the Shymkent Institute of Culture named after M. Auezov. She has been in the profession for 27 years. This year, the exemplary choreographic ensemble "Ayala" turned 23 years old, and "Zhuldyz" turned 10 years old. Today, about 200 people aged from 4 to 22 years are engaged in its teams.
