More than 194 thousand services have been provided to Kazakhstanis with disabilities through a specialized portal since the beginning of 2022

Since the beginning of this year, through the social services portal, 162.1 thousand people with disabilities have received technical means of rehabilitation, 6.4 thousand – sign language services, 25.5 thousand – individual assistant services. 44 thousand orders for guaranteed social packages were also issued.

The portal allows people with disabilities to independently choose the manufacturer and supplier of technical means and rehabilitation services. The order of the type of assistance is made using the electronic digital signature of the service recipient. The ordered technical means of rehabilitation are collected by delivery or pickup.

Provision of rehabilitation facilities for people with disabilities includes the provision of prosthetic and orthopedic, sign language, typhlotechnical and hygienic means, as well as wheelchairs.

To date, the portal has registered 816 medical and social institutions (departments) providing special social services, 230 providers of rehabilitation equipment, more than 24 thousand providers of individual assistant services, 623 - sign language, 89 – sanatorium treatment and 61 providers of guaranteed social packages.
