The secretary of the maslikhat of the Ulytau region was elected

Today, on June 8, the first session of the maslikhat of the Ulytau region took place in Zhezkazgan. Bauyrzhan Shingisov was elected Secretary.

Eleven of the twelve deputies were present at the session, issues such as the approval of the composition of the standing committees, the formation of the maslikhat apparatus were considered.

Bauyrzhan Shyngysov is a native of Zhezkazgan. He held various positions at system–forming enterprises, as well as in the civil service - he was deputy akim and akim of Zhezkazgan, headed by Satpayev.

In 2016, he was elected a deputy of the VI convocation, and in 2021 – a deputy of the VII convocation of the Karaganda regional Maslikhat. He was the chairman of the Permanent Commission on socio-cultural development and social protection.

Recall that today the decree of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on the formation of three new regions – Ulytau, Abay and Zhetysu came into force.
