A new deputy akim of the Karaganda region has been appointed

Erbol Alikulov was appointed Deputy Akim of the Karaganda region for social sphere, internal policy and social development. This was announced by the head of the region Zhenis Kassymbek at a staff meeting.

- In coordination with the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Yerbol Shymkent Alikulov was appointed Deputy akim of the region. Prior to this appointment as the State Inspector of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, he supervised the Karaganda region. He is well acquainted with the issues of socio-economic development of the region. – the governor of the region said.

As Deputy mayor, Erbol Alikulov will oversee the spheres of education, culture, sports, youth policy, and language development.

Erbol Alikulov held various positions in the civil service.In Almaty, he worked as deputy akim of Turksib and Almaly districts, akim of Zhetysu district. Then he was the head of the office of the Akim of Almaty, headed the Department of Employment and Social Programs. He held senior positions in the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan. From June 2017 to the present appointment, he worked as a state inspector of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
