Digital transformation of the construction industry is being discussed in Karaganda

Scientists, engineers and representatives of the construction industry from Kazakhstan, Russia, Great Britain, South Korea, Poland, Belarus, the USA and other countries gathered in Karaganda. They discuss the introduction of innovations and digital technologies in construction. The House of Friendship hosts an international conference dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Doctor of Technical Sciences Zhumagul Nuguzhinov. The main topics are BIM modeling, artificial intelligence, digital twins, earthquake-resistant construction and modern engineering solutions.

The plenary session was attended by Akim of Karaganda region Ermaganbet Bulekpayev.

— The Head of State has repeatedly stressed that Kazakhstan's competitiveness directly depends on strong science, modern technologies and the training of a new generation of engineering personnel. Such meetings prove that our science is moving in the right direction. Digital technologies, artificial intelligence and new design methods have been widely implemented today," he noted.

Ermaganbet Bulekpayev also congratulated Zhumagul Nuguzhinov and thanked him for his contribution to the promotion of new approaches, participation in a number of major projects and the education of a galaxy of young engineers.

Renat Elshibekov, Deputy Chairman of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, welcomed the Minister of Science and Higher Education Sayasat Nurbek. The appeal noted the importance of the development of construction science and engineering.

Special attention at the conference was paid to the issues of technical regulation, energy efficiency, computer modeling and the use of intelligent systems in construction.

The organizers note that such sites help to combine science, education and construction practice to develop modern engineering solutions and train new generation personnel.
