A small industrial zone is being built in Saran

In the Karaganda region, the Saran industrial zone remains one of the key points of industrial growth in the region. A number of enterprises are successfully operating here and new investment projects are being implemented. And soon a small industrial zone will appear on its territory to accommodate small and medium-sized businesses. This will give an additional impetus to the development of entrepreneurship and the creation of new jobs.

Akim of the region Ermaganbet Bulekpayev visited the Saran industrial zone. The head of the region was informed about the progress of new projects.

The construction of a small industrial zone is proceeding at an active pace. It will be a modern industrial complex with ready-made communal infrastructure. The area of the facility is 30 thousand square meters. m. The project is aimed at developing industry and supporting small and medium—sized businesses: entrepreneurs will be able to reduce start-up costs and launch production faster.

— We saw that the case is ready, the equipment is arriving, and its installation is underway. Production of trucks and special equipment will be organized here. First, assembly, then a gradual transition to deeper localization. Another project is the production of large industrial containers for the needs of Qarmet. This is an important step in import substitution," said Ermaganbet Bulekpayev.

The akim of the region also looked at how other investment projects are progressing.

In particular, a plant for the production of thermal insulation materials is being prepared for launch — equipment is already being installed at the site. About 200 new jobs will be created at the enterprise, and more than a thousand more will be provided by service organizations around the production.

The HOWO truck production project is also in an active stage. Its implementation will bring 24 billion tenge of investments and about a thousand new jobs. After reaching full capacity, the plant will produce up to 10 thousand units of equipment per year.

The development of pipe production continues. The design capacity of the plant is up to 300 thousand tons of products per year. Small—size pipes have already been produced, and large diameters of up to 630 mm are planned to be mastered in the near future. This will significantly expand the possibilities of domestic production in the field of housing and communal services and construction.
