Digital services for price monitoring, communications and urban management have been introduced in Karaganda region

A number of digital solutions have been implemented in the Karaganda region within the Smart City ecosystem which allow tracking real food prices identifying problem areas of mobile communications and analyzing the state of urban green spaces using neural networks

One of the projects is aimed at monitoring prices for socially important products The system collects data in real time from the websites of the Magnum Basket and Ayan retail chains and is also supplemented with information manually collected in other stores

— For each product, you can see a specific store and purchase it at a specified price This gives an understanding of real market prices rather than statistical averages" said Konstantin Ilnitsky, head of the Department of Informatization Public Services and Archives of the Karaganda region According to him, it is planned to connect new retail chains and expand the list of goods this year

Another digital tool is used to monitor the quality of mobile communications The interactive map displays the parameters of all operators and allows you to identify areas with unstable signals including sections along highways These data are used when forming joint plans with telecom operators and relevant departments

Neural network solutions are used in the field of urban economy

As part of the Green Map project, akimat staff and volunteers conducted an inventory of green spaces the neural network determined the type and condition of trees from photographs The results are summarized in an analytical panel indicating the problem areas where the plantings need maintenance

In addition digital services are used to analyze urban development Based on aerial photography and cadastre data, the system identifies buildings going beyond the boundaries of land plots as well as cases of construction without permits

Konstantin Ilnitsky said that in the future, the integration of implemented solutions into the unified register of republican Smart City initiatives is being considered which will allow other regions to use already tested digital services
