New plants are being prepared for launch in Saran

The Saran industrial zone continues to actively develop in the Karaganda region, which has become one of the key drivers of industrial growth in the region. New factories are planned to be launched here this year, including the production of HOWO brand trucks.

Akim of the region Ermaganbet Bulekpayev visited the Saran industrial zone. The head of the region was informed about the progress of new projects.

TEMPO Kazakhstan LLP will produce straight-seam steel pipes used in the construction of metal structures and the laying of water pipes.

The project cost is 20 billion tenge, and the design capacity is up to 250 thousand tons of products per year. The company will provide up to 400 new jobs. The plant is currently debugging equipment and has already begun to produce small pipes.

The HOWO truck production project will reduce dependence on imports. Its implementation will bring 24 billion tenge of investments and about a thousand new jobs.

After reaching full capacity, the plant will produce up to 10 thousand units of equipment per year. Construction is progressing actively, and equipment is being supplied at the same time.

Ermaganbet Bulekpayev also inspected the site of the future plant for the production of mineral wool for heat and sound insulation of construction sites.

Construction and installation works are being completed here and the installation of equipment has begun.

The launch is planned for this year.

About 200 new jobs will be created at the enterprise, and more than a thousand more will be provided by service organizations around the production.

In addition, the first stamping plant in Kazakhstan was shown to the governor of the region at the QazTehna plant. Body parts are produced from domestic galvanized steel Qarmet. For this purpose, an innovative hydraulic stamping press was purchased. The machine–building enterprise has increased the share of local content - the degree of localization has increased significantly.

– The Saran industrial Zone continues to expand, creating new jobs. New major projects in the manufacturing industry are being implemented. Recently, the Prime Minister set the task of increasing the volume of this sector of the economy, and we are moving in this direction," said Ermaganbet Bulekpayev. – I checked the progress of the projects. We will continue to monitor and help resolve any issues that arise. In the region as a whole, we have set ourselves big goals for this year – industrial growth of at least 7%.

The development of the Saran industrial zone is facilitated by the created engineering infrastructure. All necessary communications have been provided at the expense of the state. The plants are connected to natural gas, which reduces energy consumption and makes production more environmentally friendly. There are plans to build a bypass road that will directly connect the industrial zone with the regional center.
