The Year of Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence – The President signed a Decree

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev signed a decree declaring 2026 the Year of Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence.

"In order to further develop digitalization and the widespread introduction of artificial intelligence, I decree:

1. Declare 2026 the Year of Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence.

2. The Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan should take the necessary measures to hold the Year of Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence.

3. Control over the implementation of this Decree is entrusted to the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan," the legal act says.
