There are two main points of tourism development in the Karaganda region – the Balkhash resort area and Karkaralinsk.

In Karkaralinsk, a Bugyly zone will be set up for the development of tourism, where there will be year-round recreation. The land area is 75 hectares. This year, engineering communications began to be brought in: electric networks, sewerage and drinking water will be laid.

The Karaganda–Karkaralinsk road was completely repaired this year. Next year, they plan to repair roads in Karkaralinsk itself.
