New pipe plant to be opened in Karaganda region

The Saran industrial zone has become one of the key industrial growth sites in the Karaganda region. Mechanical engineering and manufacturing industries are developing here. There are already five production facilities producing competitive products, and more than 4,500 new jobs have been created. Seven more projects are being implemented. Among them is a modern pipe plant, which has no analogues in Kazakhstan. The launch of the enterprise will reduce the country's dependence on pipe imports and strengthen the position of the domestic industry in both domestic and foreign markets.

The construction of the TEMPO-Kazakhstan plant is coming to an end. Industrialists are preparing for commissioning.

The production capacity of the enterprise is up to 300 thousand tons of steel pipes per year. The plant will produce electro–welded and profiled steel pipes of various diameters - from 57 to 630 millimeters. These products are in demand in the oil and gas sector, construction, and housing and communal services. Pre-insulated pipes will be produced for the municipal sector, which reduce heat loss and increase the reliability of heat supply.

The choice of a location for a new production facility was influenced by the advantages of the industrial zone: convenient logistics, ready-made industrial infrastructure.

The support of local authorities has also become a significant factor.

– We have been provided with electricity, gas, railway tracks, and a playground. This accelerated construction by months, and we are very grateful for this," says Kairat Birmanov, CEO of TEMPO–Kazakhstan.

While the project is being prepared for launch, recruitment is already underway. Engineers, operators, logistics and sales specialists are required. In total, it is planned to create up to 500 new jobs. Those who wish to find a job can send their CV to the following email address: hr@tempo.kz .

For personnel training, the company has signed a memorandum with the Department of Education of the Karaganda region. Students will be trained for specific specialties, internships and on-site training are provided. Graduates will receive a priority right to employment.

The pipe plant project also relies on environmental friendliness: production is not related to metal smelting, and modern equipment and laboratories ensure quality control and safety for the environment.
